Barrandov Opera Visit
Sunday September 23rd 2018 at 18.00

We are now, once again taking bookings for this superb event which proved so popular last year. If you have not been before you will find yourself seated at tables of 10 guests, enjoying a buffet dinner while, before and between courses, being serenaded by rising stars of the opera world. As if that were not enough the evening is spent in an amazing restored barn in the heart of rural Suffolk.

Demand for these events, which take place only a few time a year, is so great that they are booked months ahead. We have secured three tables this year (30 places)  for the performance on September 23rd at 6.00 pm. Book by September 14th  but early booking is strongly advised.

Please note that any previous expression of interest does not commit you in any way to book this event

About the Opera Evening

The Barrandov opera is possibly Britain's smallest and most intimate opera house, the fulfillment of an opera lover's dream. It is set in glorious Suffolk countryside near Needham Market in a magnificent barn restored by Carol and John Dearlove on the 200 acre family arable farm.

On selected dates the venue stages these buffet dinners for up to about 100 people. Black tie is optional but widely adopted. Also  it is an opportunity for the ladies to show off a bit!
